Apply for a Diversion Program
Oklahoma County Treatment Courts provide eligible individuals with an opportunity to address substance use, mental health needs, and justice involvement through treatment, accountability, and support.
Before submitting an application, please review the eligibility guidelines and exclusions below. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility
Applications must be submitted by your attorney.
One of the following must be true for the applicant to be eligible:
Individuals assessed as High Risk / High Need through a Jail or Offender Screening, where prison is the offer from the State, will be considered.
Individuals must apply prior to their Preliminary Hearing.
Must have a current case in Oklahoma County.

Exclusions
If any of the following is true for the applicant, they will not qualify for any current Treatment Court programs:
Drug Trafficking (per 22 O.S. § 471.2)
Active gang members
Registered sex offenders (those required to be on the registry)
Felony domestic violence charges within the last ten years
Out‑of‑state transfers will not be considered.
All other cases will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the District Attorney's Office.
