OKLAHOMA COUNTY TREATMENT COURTS TRANSFER POLICIES
Out-of-State Transfers
Oklahoma County Treatment Courts do not accept out-of-state transfers.
In-State Transfers
Transfers from other Oklahoma counties may be considered only if all required conditions are met.
To be considered, the following must apply:
The defendant lives or works in Oklahoma County.
The out-of-county prosecutor speaks with our office and recommends the transfer.
The out-of-county prosecutor is willing to transfer full jurisdiction, not just supervision, to Oklahoma County Treatment Court.
The out-of-county prosecutor provides a current NCIC report for the defendant.
The defendant’s offender screening is provided to our office.
If these conditions are met, Oklahoma County Treatment Courts will review eligibility consistent with program policies and procedures.
