1.How do I apply for a treatment court program?
To apply for a treatment court program, an applicant or their attorney can complete the online application here. Alternatively, a paper copy can be filled out and dropped off at the Public Defender’s office at the Oklahoma County Courthouse.
2. How do I get an offender screening completed?
If the applicant is currently in custody: The screening will be requested automatically when the treatment court application is submitted. A team will conduct the screening while the applicant is in custody.
If the applicant is released before their screening is completed: They must go to Diversion Hub to complete the screening.
If the applicant is out of custody: They must go to Diversion Hub for an offender screening. Screenings are available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. 1200 Linwood Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 (405) 594-8843
Important: An application cannot be formally processed until the offender screening is received.
3. How can an attorney request a copy of an offender screening?
If an application has been submitted, the attorney listed on the application will automatically receive an emailed copy of the offender screening once it is processed, regardless of whether the application will be applied to a specific court.
If no application has been submitted, the attorney may request a copy of the screening by contacting the application team at okcodiversionapp@oklahomacounty.org once it is completed.
4. What happens after I apply?
Once the offender screening is received, the application will be sent to the District Attorney’s office for review. Applicants or their attorneys will automatically receive an email update when their formal application has been sent.
5. How can I track the progress of my application?
Applicants or their attorneys will receive email updates at the following stages:
When the application is received
When it is waiting for an offender screening
When it is formally submitted to the DA’s office
When it is approved or denied
When it has been appealed
When the appeal has been approved or denied

6. What happens if I am not approved for a program?
The applicant’s attorney will receive a denial notification by email. If the applicant wishes to appeal the decision, their attorney may write an appeal and submit it by emailing okcodiversionapp@oklahomacounty.org. Each application is allowed 1 appeal.
7. What happens if I am approved for a program?
The applicant’s attorney will be notified by email. The individual will need to attend a program orientation before setting up a plea date. You can reach out to okcodiversionapp@oklahomacounty.org to find out when the next orientation date and location is. The individual will need to plea into the program within 60 days of being accepted.
